The sheet music for Hallelujah written by Leonard Cohen, is available below.

Leonard Cohen's original version, released in 1984 on the album Various Positions, was actually not terribly successful. It was only with increasing cover versions that Hallelujah earned its current popularity. Initially through a version by Welsh singer John Cale (1991). This was followed by a Jeff Buckley cover in 1997, which was followed by Rufus Wainwright creating his own version shortly after. The version of Hallelujah sung by Rufus Wainwright was famously featured in the soundtrack of the movie Shrek. Bizarrely, though, it was the version by John Cale that was actually used in the motion picture itself.
