We struggle to think of anybody quite like Rolf. At the age of 16 he was a champion swimmer in his home country of Australia. He also painting by then, more of which later. He was a cartoonist for the BBC in the early 1950s. He married Alwen Hughes in 1958 and they have been happily married for over 54 years. He had hit singles in the 1960s with Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport and Sun Arise. He has played some unusual instruments including the Didgeridoo and the Wobble-board which he invented. He even has his own electronic instrument, the Stylophone, launched in the 1970s and it made a resurgence as a gadget in the late 2000s. He has had many TV shows covering entertainment and painting and has even painted Queen Elizabeth II.

And that's not all - he has headlined at the Glastonbury Festival. His art fetches handsome sums and continues to be displayed with a retrospective titles using one of his favourite catchphrases: "Can you tell what it is yet?".

Probably the highlight of his musical career is the legendary Two Little Boys and the lowlight is his spoken version of Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven.
